Comments

If you leave a comment, certain information may be publicly visible, such as your name or an avatar photo, if you have created a website account. Your email address will never be available publicly.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you have an account and log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser. When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and screen display choices. Newsletter

On the Website, you may subscribe to our newsletter, which may be used for advertising purposes. All newsletters sent may contain tracking pixels. The pixel is embedded in emails and allows analysis of the success of online marketing campaigns. Because of these tracking pixels, we may see if and when you open an email and which links within the email you click. This allows us to adapt the content of future newsletters to your interests. This behaviour will not be passed on to third parties.

• Google Analytics & GoDaddy – tracks Website usage and provides information such as referring websites and user actions.
• Mailer lite – used for delivery of email updates and newsletters. We store your name and email address for communications.
• Simple Clinic – used for booking naturopathic appointments. We store your name and email address for appointment bookings and reminders.

This list may be amended from time to time at our sole discretion. Except when required by law, we will not sell, distribute, or reveal your personal information without consent.

HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR DATA

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. For registered users, we also store the personal information provided in their profile. Users can see, edit, or delete their information at any time (except username). Website administrators can also access and edit this information.

WHAT RIGHTS YOU HAVE OVER YOUR DATA

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold. This does not include data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

SENSITIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION

At no time should you submit sensitive personal information to the Website (such as health records, religious beliefs, or political affiliations). If you elect to submit such information, it will be subject to this Privacy Policy. The Website does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 16. If a parent or guardian believes that the Website has information about a child under 16, please contact us immediately and we will remove it promptly.

To provide fair access to appointments and allow time for other clients to book, The Neurodivergent Naturopath requires at least 48 hours’ notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling.

If you cancel or reschedule with less than 48 hours’ notice, or do not attend your appointment, the full consultation fee may be charged.

I understand that life happens, especially in neurodivergent households. Where illness, emergencies or unavoidable circumstances arise, please contact me as soon as possible so we can discuss your options. This policy helps protect the time set aside for your care, while also allowing waitlisted clients and families the opportunity to access support.

Sarah Hooper is a member of the Australian Natural Therapists Association Ltd. ANTA, a national professional association for natural therapy practitioners in Australia.

ANTA members are required to meet professional standards, follow ANTA’s Code of Professional Conduct, maintain appropriate clinical records, comply with relevant laws, and complete ongoing professional education as part of membership requirements. ANTA also provides a formal complaints process for members of the public.
