At The Neurodivergent Naturopath, care is built around understanding what may be happening beneath the surface. Sleep, digestion, feeding, mood, sensory overwhelm, hormones, burnout, nutrient status and nervous system regulation can all shape how a person feels and functions day to day.
Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, we look at the bigger picture and create gentle, practical support that respects the individual. This is care for autistic, ADHD and neurodivergent children, teens, adults and families who want to feel better understood, better supported and less overwhelmed by the process.
Appointments are available online across Australia, making it easier to access thoughtful naturopathic care from the comfort of home

Whether you are navigating gut symptoms, feeding challenges, sleep, hormones, anxiety, burnout or neurodivergent health more broadly, we can help you understand the next best step.
Sarah Hooper is a Bachelor qualified naturopath with a special interest in neurodivergent health, paediatric wellbeing, gut health, feeding, sleep, hormones and nervous system support.
Her approach looks at the whole person, not just isolated symptoms. She works with families to understand what may be happening underneath the surface and create realistic, gentle care plans that fit real life.
Sarah is an AuDHDer, which means she is both Autistic and ADHD, and she is also a mum to three neurodivergent children with different profiles, needs and ways of experiencing the world.
Her family includes PDA profiles, anxiety, feeding differences and ARFID, so when Sarah says she understands how complex neurodivergent family life can feel, she means it from both a clinical and lived experience perspective.
Sarah supports autistic, ADHD and neurodivergent babies, children, teens, adults and families through online naturopathic consultations Australia wide.
Areas of support include gut symptoms, constipation, diarrhoea, feeding challenges, ARFID, sleep, anxiety, mood, sensory overwhelm, hormonal changes, PMS, PMDD, burnout, iron deficiency, nutrient needs and nervous system regulation.
Neuroaffirming naturopathic support for autistic and ADHD babies, children, teens and adults. Autism and ADHD are not problems to fix, but neurodivergent people can still experience very real body based challenges with sleep, digestion, feeding, anxiety, sensory overwhelm, hormones, burnout, nutrient needs and nervous system regulation. Care focuses on understanding what the body may be trying to communicate, while supporting the whole person.

Support for children navigating sleep challenges, gut symptoms, feeding differences, anxiety, emotional regulation, sensory overwhelm, nutrient needs and the everyday body based pieces that can make life feel harder than it needs to.

Support for teens experiencing burnout, low mood, anxiety, fatigue, hormonal changes, period concerns, food challenges, sleep disruption, school stress and the pressure of trying to function in systems that may not fit them.

Support for adults and women with ADHD, Autism or suspected neurodivergence, especially those navigating burnout, hormones, gut health, iron deficiency, nervous system dysregulation, perimenopause, PMDD, stress and years of feeling misunderstood.
Support for babies, children, teens and adults who find food, eating or mealtimes more complicated than they “should” be. Food is never just food. For many neurodivergent people, eating can be shaped by sensory preferences, anxiety, gut symptoms, interoception, past pressure, low appetite, safe foods, family stress and the nervous system. My role is to help make sense of what is happening underneath the surface and build a plan that feels safe, realistic & supportive.

Support for families who feel stuck in mealtime stress, food battles, separate meals, pressure, guilt or overwhelm. We focus on reducing stress around food while supporting connection, nutrition and nervous system safety.

Support for children, teens and adults with limited food variety, strong preferences, food refusal, sensory sensitivities or anxiety around new foods. The goal is not force or pressure, but gentle, practical steps toward feeling safer with food.

Neuroaffirming support for Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder, including safe food reliance, low appetite, sensory avoidance, fear based eating, nutrition gaps and mealtime anxiety. Care is gentle, individualised & focused on safety first.
Support for women, teens and neurodivergent people navigating hormones, periods, vaginal health, pelvic symptoms, burnout, perimenopause, menopause and the many body based changes that can happen across different life stages. Women’s health is never just hormones. Cycles, mood, energy, sleep, digestion, pain, inflammation, stress, nutrient status, nervous system regulation and lived experience can all shape how you feel in your body.

Support for painful periods, long or irregular cycles, PMS, PMDD, heavy bleeding, hormonal acne, suspected PCOS, endometriosis symptoms and the mood, energy and gut changes that can come with hormonal shifts.

Support for vaginal microbiome concerns, recurrent thrush or BV, irritation, discharge changes, pelvic discomfort, pain with sex, urinary symptoms and gut or hormone patterns that may be contributing to ongoing symptoms.

Support for women navigating changing cycles, heavier or lighter periods, hot flushes, night sweats, mood changes, anxiety, sleep disruption, brain fog, fatigue, weight changes, dryness, libido changes and nervous system overwhelm.

From preconception through to postpartum, naturopathic care can support the body through some of the most nutritionally and hormonally demanding seasons of life. This may include support for cycle health, ovulation, egg quality, nutrient status, thyroid function, gut health, stress resilience and preparation for pregnancy (including alongside of IVF)

Men’s fertility is often overlooked, but sperm health plays a major role in conception, pregnancy outcomes and embryo development. Naturopathic care may support sperm count, motility, morphology, DNA integrity, hormone balance, nutrient status, inflammation, oxidative stress, gut health, sleep and metabolic health.

Healthy ageing is not just about preventing disease. It is about supporting energy, strength, brain health, hormones, digestion, sleep, mood, mobility and resilience as the body changes over time.
Naturopathic care may support healthy ageing by looking at inflammation, metabolic health, blood sugar regulation, cardiovascular health, liver function, gut health, nutrient status, muscle maintenance, bone health, cognitive function and nervous system recovery.
Our clinic is conveniently online, which means you can access neuroaffirming naturopathic care from the comfort of home, without the stress of travel, waiting rooms, parking, sensory overwhelm or trying to fit another appointment into an already full week.
Online consultations allow us to support families across Australia while still creating a warm, thoughtful and personalised experience. Whether you are booking for your child, teen, family or yourself, sessions are designed to feel calm, flexible and practical, with care that meets you where you are.
You will receive clear guidance, personalised recommendations and ongoing support, all from a space that already feels safe and familiar.
Care is built around understanding the whole person, including their nervous system, sensory needs, digestion, sleep, hormones, feeding, mood, energy, strengths and lived experience. The goal is support, never shame.
Behaviour is communication, and symptoms often have a story. Rather than focusing only on what is happening on the outside, we look at the body systems that may be contributing underneath, including gut health, nutrient status, inflammation, stress physiology, sleep patterns, food intake and hormonal changes.
Any prescriptions & recommendations are designed to be realistic, flexible and doable. Sarah understands that we don't need perfect routines, no fear based food rules, and no overwhelming treatment plans that ignore how full life already is.
Just clear, personalised support that meets you where you are.
